Acoustic fire doors in Ampthill

Getting acoustic fire doors fitted in Ampthill

We fit acoustic fire doorsets in Ampthill and the rest of Bedfordshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.

Where possible we combine Ampthill surveys with other visits in Bedfordshire, such as Bedford and Dunstable, which helps keep survey dates flexible.

What the law says in Ampthill

In Ampthill, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
