What the law says in Cardiff
Fire doors in Cardiff are covered by the Welsh Building Regulations guidance for new work and by the Fire Safety Order 2005 for existing premises. Your fire risk assessment will say which doors need replacing and to what rating.
What do stairwell fire doors cost in Cardiff?
Our guide for stairwell fire doors is £850–£1,400 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Cardiff are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
