Stairwell & Escape Route Doors for Greater Manchester buildings
Across Greater Manchester we handle stairwell fire doors for single doors and whole-building programmes alike — survey, fixed quote, certified doorsets and careful installation.
Regulations for stairwell fire doors in Greater Manchester
In Greater Manchester, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of stairwell fire doors in Greater Manchester
Our guide price for stairwell fire doors in Greater Manchester is £850 to £1,400 per single doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
