Getting stairwell fire doors fitted in Hindley
If your fire risk assessment in Hindley has flagged doors to replace, we can schedule, quote and fit doors onto protected stairs and escape routes to match its recommendations. Surveys in WN2 are free and quotes are fixed and itemised.
Whether your building is in central Hindley or on its edges towards Wigan, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Which rules apply in Hindley?
In Hindley, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do stairwell fire doors cost in Hindley?
Guide prices for stairwell fire doors in Hindley run from about £850 to £1,400 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
