Fire door installation in Greater Manchester: how we work
Our Greater Manchester service covers fire door installation for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Manchester, Oldham and Wigan.
What the law says in Greater Manchester
In Greater Manchester, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do fire door installation cost in Greater Manchester?
Our guide for fire door installation is £750–£1,150 per FD30 doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Greater Manchester are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
