Our Ayrshire supply and fit service
Throughout Ayrshire, including Kilmarnock, Ayr and Irvine, we survey, quote and fit doors onto protected stairs and escape routes as complete certified doorsets, with the manufacturer's certificate reference on every quote.
What the law says in Ayrshire
Fire doors in Ayrshire follow Scottish building standards for new work, with the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 covering duties in workplaces and other non-domestic premises. Shared residential buildings may also be covered by licensing conditions, for example for HMOs.
Cost of stairwell fire doors in Ayrshire
Our guide for stairwell fire doors is £850–£1,400 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Ayrshire are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
