Riser cupboard fire doors in Nottinghamshire: how we work
Our Nottinghamshire service covers riser cupboard fire doors for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Nottingham, Mansfield and Worksop.
What the law says in Nottinghamshire
Fire doors in Nottinghamshire sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
What do riser cupboard fire doors cost in Nottinghamshire?

We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine visits with other work in Nottinghamshire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Can you work around tenants or staff?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.

Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and frame is included when we replace a doorset.
Do riser doors need closers?
Not if they are kept locked shut and signed 'Fire door keep locked'.
