Fire door rules in Nottinghamshire
New and replacement fire doors in Nottinghamshire are specified under the Building Regulations 2010 and Approved Document B. In workplaces and the common parts of blocks of flats, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes the responsible person keep fire doors in working order, and in residential buildings with a storey above 11 metres regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 adds quarterly checks of communal doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors.
Cost of composite fire doors in Nottinghamshire
Budget around £1,200 to £2,200 per door for composite fire doors supplied and fitted in Nottinghamshire, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
Typical uses in Nottinghamshire
