Acoustic fire doors in Nottinghamshire: how we work
Across Nottinghamshire we handle acoustic fire doors for single doors and whole-building programmes alike — survey, fixed quote, certified doorsets and careful installation.
Which rules apply in Nottinghamshire?
Fire doors in Nottinghamshire sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Cost of acoustic fire doors in Nottinghamshire
Our guide price for acoustic fire doors in Nottinghamshire is £1,100 to £2,000 per single doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
