Glazed fire doors in Braintree

Getting glazed fire doors fitted in Braintree

Need glazed fire doors in Braintree? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Essex, starting with a free measure survey in and around CM7. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.

Where possible we combine Braintree surveys with other visits in Essex, such as Witham and Chelmsford, which helps keep survey dates flexible.

Which rules apply in Braintree?

Because Braintree is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.

Glazed fire doors prices in Braintree

Guide prices for glazed fire doors in Braintree run from about £950 to £1,700 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.

Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
