Glazed fire doors in Chelmsford

Our Chelmsford supply and fit service

If your fire risk assessment in Chelmsford has flagged doors to replace, we can schedule, quote and fit glazed fire doors with tested fire glass to match its recommendations. Surveys in CM1 are free and quotes are fixed and itemised.

Where possible we combine Chelmsford surveys with other visits in Essex, such as Billericay and Witham, which helps keep survey dates flexible.

Regulations for glazed fire doors in Essex

Fire doors in Chelmsford sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
