Fire rated glazed screens in West Yorkshire: how we work
Our West Yorkshire service covers fire rated glazed screens for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield.
Fire door rules in West Yorkshire
Fire doors in West Yorkshire sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
What do fire rated glazed screens cost in West Yorkshire?
Guide prices for fire rated glazed screens in West Yorkshire run from about £1,400 to £4,500 per screen, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Guide prices assume straightforward access; out-of-hours working or difficult access is priced as a separate, visible line.

Common questions in West Yorkshire
Do you cover the whole of West Yorkshire?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit fire rated glazed screens across West Yorkshire, including Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield.
Is the survey free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Does a fanlight above a fire door need to be fire-rated?
Yes, if it is part of the fire-resisting wall or door assembly. Ordinary glass above a fire door defeats the door.
