Fire rated glazed screens in Dewsbury: how we work
For landlords, managing agents, businesses and homeowners in Dewsbury, we provide fire-rated glazed screens and fanlights with one fixed quote. A free survey comes first, then a door-by-door schedule, then installation to the manufacturer's instructions and a handover pack for your records.
Dewsbury is about 8 miles from Leeds; we cover both, along with Batley, Ossett and Morley.
Regulations for fire rated glazed screens in West Yorkshire
Fire doors in Dewsbury sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Cost of fire rated glazed screens in West Yorkshire
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in Dewsbury, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
