Fire rated glazed screens in Blackpool: how we work
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits fire rated glazed screens in Blackpool, Lancashire. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
We cover FY1 and the surrounding area, including Thornton-Cleveleys. Tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
What the law says in Blackpool
Because Blackpool is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of fire rated glazed screens in Lancashire
Expect roughly £1,400–£4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens, fitted, ex VAT. Your Blackpool quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
