In workplaces and the common parts of blocks of flats, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes the responsible person keep fire doors in working order, and in residential buildings with a storey above 11 metres regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 adds quarterly checks of communal doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors.
Guide prices in Leyland

Which rules do fire rated glazed screens in Leyland need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Can you fit just one door in Leyland?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Lancashire.
How quickly can you survey in Leyland?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Leyland visits with other work in Lancashire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Steel or timber screens?
Both are available. Timber matches timber doorsets; steel suits slim sightlines and higher ratings.
