Security fire doors in Blackpool

Our Blackpool supply and fit service

We fit fire and security rated doorsets in Blackpool and the rest of Lancashire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.

Whether your building is in central Blackpool or on its edges towards Thornton-Cleveleys, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.

Fire door rules in Blackpool

Because Blackpool is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.

Cost of security fire doors in Lancashire

Expect roughly £1,600–£3,500 per single doorset for security fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Blackpool quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.

Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
