Getting fire exit doors fitted in Merseyside
Our Merseyside service covers fire exit doors for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Liverpool, Birkenhead and St Helens.
What the law says in Merseyside
Because Merseyside is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of fire exit doors in Merseyside
Our guide price for fire exit doors in Merseyside is £1,200 to £2,200 per single doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.
Typical uses in Merseyside
Liverpool's large stock of city-centre apartments and student blocks is matched by Victorian conversions across Wirral, Sefton and St Helens.
