Fire exit doors in East Sussex: how we work
We supply and fit fire exit doors across East Sussex, including Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings. Every job starts with a free measure survey and ends with a handover pack listing each certified doorset fitted.
Which rules apply in East Sussex?
In East Sussex, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of fire exit doors in East Sussex
Budget around £1,200 to £2,200 per single doorset for fire exit doors supplied and fitted in East Sussex, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Guide prices assume straightforward access; out-of-hours working or difficult access is priced as a separate, visible line.
Buildings that need fire exit doors
