Certified fire exit doors for Hampshire
We supply and fit fire exit doors across Hampshire, including Southampton, Portsmouth and Basingstoke. Every job starts with a free measure survey and ends with a handover pack listing each certified doorset fitted.
What the law says in Hampshire
In Hampshire, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of fire exit doors in Hampshire
Budget around £1,200 to £2,200 per single doorset for fire exit doors supplied and fitted in Hampshire, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.

Questions about fire exit doors in Hampshire
Do you remove the old doors?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and frame is included when we replace a doorset.
Is the survey free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Can you work around tenants or staff?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Can you add outside access?
Yes, with outside access devices that are compatible with the exit hardware.
