Getting acoustic fire doors fitted in East Sussex
Our East Sussex service covers acoustic fire doors for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings.
Which rules apply in East Sussex?
Because East Sussex is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of acoustic fire doors in East Sussex
Budget around £1,100 to £2,000 per single doorset for acoustic fire doors supplied and fitted in East Sussex, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
