What the law says in Scottish Borders
Scotland has its own system: new and replacement fire doors in Scottish Borders are designed to the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 and the Technical Handbooks (Section 2, Fire). For non-domestic premises, the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 place duties on whoever controls the building.
FD60 fire doors prices in Scottish Borders
Our guide price for FD60 fire doors in Scottish Borders is £1,050 to £1,650 per single doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
