Regulations for FD30S fire doors in Herefordshire
Fire doors in Herefordshire sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
FD30S fire doors prices in Herefordshire
Budget around £800 to £1,250 per single doorset for FD30S fire doors supplied and fitted in Herefordshire, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.

Questions about FD30S fire doors in Herefordshire
Do you cover the whole of Herefordshire?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit FD30S fire doors across Herefordshire, including Hereford.
Can you fit just one door?
Yes — from a single door to a full building.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Do smoke seals stop the door closing?
They shouldn't. A properly hung FD30S door closes and latches under its closer. If seals are crushed or the door binds, it needs adjusting — a door that fails to latch is a failed fire door.
