Stairwell & Escape Route Doors for Herefordshire buildings
Across Herefordshire we handle stairwell fire doors for single doors and whole-building programmes alike — survey, fixed quote, certified doorsets and careful installation.
Regulations for stairwell fire doors in Herefordshire
Because Herefordshire is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Stairwell fire doors prices in Herefordshire
Budget around £850 to £1,400 per single doorset for stairwell fire doors supplied and fitted in Herefordshire, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
