Our Brentwood supply and fit service
Getting FD30S fire doors right in Brentwood means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
We cover CM14 and the surrounding area, including Billericay. Tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
What the law says in Brentwood
Because Brentwood is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do FD30S fire doors cost in Brentwood?
Our guide for FD30S fire doors is £800–£1,250 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Brentwood are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.

Integral garage doors and cross-corridor doors are among the most common settings for FD30S fire doors, in Brentwood as elsewhere.

FD30S fire doors in Brentwood: questions
How quickly can you survey in Brentwood?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Brentwood visits with other work in Essex. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Can you fit just one door in Brentwood?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Essex.
Do you cover Brentwood?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit FD30S fire doors throughout Brentwood and the rest of Essex, including CM14 and nearby Billericay.
Do smoke seals stop the door closing?
They shouldn't. A properly hung FD30S door closes and latches under its closer. If seals are crushed or the door binds, it needs adjusting — a door that fails to latch is a failed fire door.
