What the law says in Nottingham
In Nottingham, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.

Our guide for composite fire doors is £1,200–£2,200 per door fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Nottingham are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
