Our service in Caterham
We supply and fit certified fire doorsets in Caterham for flats, HMOs, homes, workplaces and public buildings — every rating from FD30 to FD120, quoted door by door after a free measure survey.
Caterham is about 21 miles from Woking; we cover both, along with Coulsdon, Purley and Redhill.
What the law says in Caterham
Because Caterham is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Surrey's commuter towns have many office-to-residential conversions and new apartment schemes, plus independent schools and care homes.

Questions about fire doors in Caterham
How quickly can you survey in Caterham?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Caterham visits with other work in Surrey. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Can you fit just one door in Caterham?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Surrey.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Caterham?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Caterham?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
