Fire door rules in Caterham
In Caterham, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of fire rated glazed screens in Surrey
Expect roughly £1,400–£4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens, fitted, ex VAT. Your Caterham quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
