Getting glazed fire doors fitted in Caterham
Looking for glazed fire doors in Caterham? Our supply and fit service covers CR3 and the surrounding area, including Coulsdon and Purley. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Whether your building is in central Caterham or on its edges towards Coulsdon, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Which rules apply in Caterham?
In Caterham, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Guide prices in Caterham
Our guide for glazed fire doors is £950–£1,700 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Caterham are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
