Regulations for FD30 fire doors in Scottish Borders
Fire doors in Galashiels follow Scottish building standards for new work, with the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 covering duties in workplaces and other non-domestic premises. Shared residential buildings may also be covered by licensing conditions, for example for HMOs.
The Scottish Borders' textile towns, schools, care homes and hotels make up most fire door work in the region.
