Our Galashiels supply and fit service
Need acoustic fire doors in Galashiels? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Scottish Borders, starting with a free measure survey in and around TD1. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Where possible we combine Galashiels surveys with other visits in Scottish Borders, such as Hawick and Musselburgh, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Which rules apply in Galashiels?
Scotland has its own system: new and replacement fire doors in Galashiels are designed to the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 and the Technical Handbooks (Section 2, Fire). For non-domestic premises, the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 place duties on whoever controls the building.
Acoustic fire doors prices in Galashiels
Our guide for acoustic fire doors is £1,100–£2,000 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Galashiels are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
