School fire doors in Galashiels: how we work
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits school fire doors in Galashiels, Scottish Borders. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
We cover TD1 and the surrounding area, including Hawick. Tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Which rules apply in Galashiels?
In Galashiels the building standards come from the Scottish Technical Handbooks rather than Approved Document B, and existing non-domestic premises fall under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005. We specify doorsets against the Scottish requirements and your fire risk assessment.
What do school fire doors cost in Galashiels?
Expect roughly £1,100–£2,400 per doorset for school fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Galashiels quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
