Glazed fire doors in Galashiels

Our Galashiels supply and fit service

We fit glazed fire doors with tested fire glass in Galashiels and the rest of Scottish Borders. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.

Galashiels is about 14 miles from Hawick. Wherever your building is in TD1, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.

What the law says in Galashiels

In Galashiels the building standards come from the Scottish Technical Handbooks rather than Approved Document B, and existing non-domestic premises fall under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005. We specify doorsets against the Scottish requirements and your fire risk assessment.

Guide prices in Galashiels

Budget around £950 to £1,700 per single doorset for glazed fire doors supplied and fitted in Galashiels, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.

Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.

Typical uses in Galashiels
