Acoustic fire doors in Mansfield: how we work
We fit acoustic fire doorsets in Mansfield and the rest of Nottinghamshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Where possible we combine Mansfield surveys with other visits in Nottinghamshire, such as Sutton-in-Ashfield and Kirkby-in-Ashfield, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Fire door rules in Mansfield
In Mansfield, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do acoustic fire doors cost in Mansfield?
Our guide for acoustic fire doors is £1,100–£2,000 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Mansfield are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
