Acoustic fire doors in Brighton

Getting acoustic fire doors fitted in Brighton

Looking for acoustic fire doors in Brighton? Our supply and fit service covers BN1 and the surrounding area, including Hove and Portslade. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.

Brighton is one of the main towns we cover in East Sussex; tell us your dates and we'll arrange a survey.

Regulations for acoustic fire doors in East Sussex

Because Brighton is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.

Cost of acoustic fire doors in East Sussex

Guide prices for acoustic fire doors in Brighton run from about £1,100 to £2,000 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.

Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
