Timber fire doors in Weymouth: how we work
Getting timber fire doors right in Weymouth means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
We cover DT4 and the surrounding area, including Poole. Tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Which rules apply in Weymouth?
Because Weymouth is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.

Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Weymouth?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
How quickly can you survey in Weymouth?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Weymouth visits with other work in Dorset. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Is the survey in Weymouth free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Can a timber fire door be trimmed on site?
Only within the limits the manufacturer's evidence allows, usually a few millimetres. We prefer made-to-measure doorsets so no trimming is needed.
