Security fire doors in Merseyside: how we work
We supply and fit security fire doors across Merseyside, including Liverpool, Birkenhead and St Helens. Every job starts with a free measure survey and ends with a handover pack listing each certified doorset fitted.
Fire door rules in Merseyside
In Merseyside, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Security fire doors prices in Merseyside
Guide prices for security fire doors in Merseyside run from about £1,600 to £3,500 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.

Questions about security fire doors in Merseyside
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Do you cover the whole of Merseyside?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit security fire doors across Merseyside, including Liverpool, Birkenhead and St Helens.
Can you work around tenants or staff?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Steel or timber?
Both are available; steel suits the higher LPS 1175 grades.
