Security fire doors in Edinburgh & the Lothians

Getting security fire doors fitted in Edinburgh & the Lothians

Fire door rules in Edinburgh & the Lothians

In Edinburgh & the Lothians the building standards come from the Scottish Technical Handbooks rather than Approved Document B, and existing non-domestic premises fall under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005. We specify doorsets against the Scottish requirements and your fire risk assessment.

Cost of security fire doors in Edinburgh & the Lothians

Budget around £1,600 to £3,500 per single doorset for security fire doors supplied and fitted in Edinburgh & the Lothians, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.

Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
