Certified security fire doors for Cornwall
Throughout Cornwall, including Truro, Redruth and Falmouth, we survey, quote and fit fire and security rated doorsets as complete certified doorsets, with the manufacturer's certificate reference on every quote.
Which rules apply in Cornwall?
Fire doors in Cornwall sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
What do security fire doors cost in Cornwall?
Expect roughly £1,600–£3,500 per single doorset for security fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Cornwall quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
