Fire door installation in Cornwall: how we work
Throughout Cornwall, including Truro, Redruth and Falmouth, we survey, quote and fit fire door supply and fit as complete certified doorsets, with the manufacturer's certificate reference on every quote.
What the law says in Cornwall
In Cornwall, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Fire door installation prices in Cornwall
Expect roughly £750–£1,150 per FD30 doorset for fire door installation, fitted, ex VAT. Your Cornwall quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
