Riser cupboard fire doors in Wiltshire: how we work
Throughout Wiltshire, including Swindon, Salisbury and Trowbridge, we survey, quote and fit fire-rated riser and service cupboard doors as complete certified doorsets, with the manufacturer's certificate reference on every quote.
Fire door rules in Wiltshire
In Wiltshire, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of riser cupboard fire doors in Wiltshire
Our guide price for riser cupboard fire doors in Wiltshire is £550 to £950 per single doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.

What rating does a riser door need?
In England, Approved Document B generally asks for at least half the fire resistance of the shaft wall, with a 30-minute minimum — so FD30 is typical, rising to FD60 for 120-minute shafts. Your fire strategy confirms it.
