Certified flat entrance fire doors for Norfolk
Across Norfolk we handle flat entrance fire doors for single doors and whole-building programmes alike — survey, fixed quote, certified doorsets and careful installation.
Regulations for flat entrance fire doors in Norfolk
In Norfolk, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of flat entrance fire doors in Norfolk
Our guide price for flat entrance fire doors in Norfolk is £1,250 to £2,300 per door including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.

Common questions in Norfolk
How quickly can you survey in Norfolk?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine visits with other work in Norfolk. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Is the survey free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Can you fit just one door?
Yes — from a single door to a full building.
Can I fit my own new front door to my flat?
Only with a doorset that meets the building's fire and smoke requirements, and usually with the freeholder's consent. A non-compliant replacement can put the whole building at risk.
