Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Cost of flat entrance fire doors in Leicestershire

Common questions in Leicestershire
Can you work around tenants or staff in Melton Mowbray?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Melton Mowbray?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Is the survey in Melton Mowbray free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Does a flat entrance door need a letterbox?
No. Many blocks avoid letterplates altogether. Where one is wanted, it must be fire-rated and tested in that doorset.
