Fire rated glazed screens in Purley: how we work
Looking for fire rated glazed screens in Purley? Our supply and fit service covers CR8 and the surrounding area, including Coulsdon and South Croydon. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Where possible we combine Purley surveys with other visits in Greater London, such as Coulsdon and South Croydon, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Regulations for fire rated glazed screens in Greater London
Because Purley is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Fire rated glazed screens prices in Purley
Our guide price for fire rated glazed screens in Purley is £1,400 to £4,500 per screen including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
Where fire rated glazed screens are used in Purley
In Purley, fire rated glazed screens are typically needed in reception and lobby screens and doors with fanlights.
