Your questions answered
How quickly can you survey in Perth & Kinross?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine visits with other work in Perth & Kinross. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Which rules apply in Perth & Kinross?
Doors are specified to the Scottish Building Standards Technical Handbooks and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Is the survey free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Does a fanlight above a fire door need to be fire-rated?
Yes, if it is part of the fire-resisting wall or door assembly. Ordinary glass above a fire door defeats the door.
