Getting fire rated glazed screens fitted in Sevenoaks
Looking for fire rated glazed screens in Sevenoaks? Our supply and fit service covers TN13 and the surrounding area, including Tonbridge and Swanley. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Whether your building is in central Sevenoaks or on its edges towards Tonbridge, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Which rules apply in Sevenoaks?
Because Sevenoaks is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of fire rated glazed screens in Kent
Our guide for fire rated glazed screens is £1,400–£4,500 per screen fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Sevenoaks are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.

Your questions answered
Can you work around tenants or staff in Sevenoaks?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Sevenoaks?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Can you fit just one door in Sevenoaks?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Kent.
Can screens be very large?
Size limits depend on the screen system's evidence. Larger screens may need intermediate mullions or transoms.
