Our Beckenham supply and fit service
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits fire rated glazed screens in Beckenham, Greater London. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
We cover BR3 and the surrounding area, including Catford. Tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Which rules apply in Beckenham?
In Beckenham, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of fire rated glazed screens in Greater London
Guide prices for fire rated glazed screens in Beckenham run from about £1,400 to £4,500 per screen, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
Buildings that need fire rated glazed screens
In Beckenham, fire rated glazed screens are typically needed in reception and lobby screens and corridor borrowed lights.
