Getting fire door installation fitted in Hampshire
We supply and fit fire door installation across Hampshire, including Southampton, Portsmouth and Basingstoke. Every job starts with a free measure survey and ends with a handover pack listing each certified doorset fitted.
Regulations for fire door installation in Hampshire
Because Hampshire is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of fire door installation in Hampshire
Our guide for fire door installation is £750–£1,150 per FD30 doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Hampshire are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
