Fire door rules in Isle of Wight
Fire doors in Isle of Wight sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.

Your questions answered
Is the survey free?

Will I get certificates for the doors fitted?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
How quickly can you survey in Isle of Wight?

Not in a way that prevents instant exit without a key while the building is occupied. Panic and emergency exit hardware achieves security and escape together.
