Getting fire door installation fitted in Somerset
We supply and fit fire door installation across Somerset, including Bath, Weston-super-Mare and Taunton. Every job starts with a free measure survey and ends with a handover pack listing each certified doorset fitted.
What the law says in Somerset
Because Somerset is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Guide prices in Somerset
Our guide price for fire door installation in Somerset is £750 to £1,150 per FD30 doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.

Your questions answered
How quickly can you survey in Somerset?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine visits with other work in Somerset. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Do you cover the whole of Somerset?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit fire door installation across Somerset, including Bath, Weston-super-Mare and Taunton.
Can you work around tenants or staff?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Do you supply fire doors without fitting?
We focus on supply and fit, because certification usually depends on correct installation. Talk to us if you have a contractor-led project.
