FD60 fire doors in Falkirk: how we work
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits FD60 fire doors in Falkirk, Forth Valley. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
Falkirk is about 10 miles from Stirling. Wherever your building is in FK1, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Fire door rules in Falkirk
In Falkirk the building standards come from the Scottish Technical Handbooks rather than Approved Document B, and existing non-domestic premises fall under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005. We specify doorsets against the Scottish requirements and your fire risk assessment.
Guide prices in Falkirk
Budget around £1,050 to £1,650 per single doorset for FD60 fire doors supplied and fitted in Falkirk, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
